DescriptionWally Wood MAD #33 Complete 2-Page Story "Ernie Kovacs' Strangely Believe It!" Original Art (EC, 1957). Part II of the series in this issue, it was written by guest-writer Ernie Kovacs, who was a comic genius all on his own. "Strangely Believe It" was a recurring segment on the Ernie Kovacs Show, and was a parody of "Ripley's Believe It or Not!" The combination of Kovacs' wacky view of the world with Wally Wood's incredible talent for comedic art resulted in a truly wonderful bit of inspired lunacy. The artwork is ink and Conté crayon on coquille board sections that are cut and affixed to a larger Bristol board to form an image area of approximately 15" x 19". There is considerable whiteout art corrections and toning on the pages. One page has slight corner damage, and the other has a minor margin rip. Overall these are in Very Good condition... and you can Believe it!
