    Tom Mandrake Batman #386 Complete 23-Page Story "Black Mask: Losing Face" Original Art (DC, 1985). A rare chance to not only get a page from a key Batman comic, but a complete story! And what a story it is -- the origin and first appearance of Black Mask, Gotham City crime lord and member of Batman's rogues gallery! Incredible art by Tom Mandrake brings this villain to life, created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on DC Bristol board with image areas averaging 10" x 15". Slight toning; logo, text, and indicia paste-ups on the first page; the bottom two panels on Page 4 are stat paste-ups, Page 16 is cut between the first and second panel tiers and conjoined by tape on the back; there are blue pencil editorial marks and text correction paste-ups throughout, with a production-trimmed top edge and corners; otherwise in Excellent condition.
