Description

Timothy Truman Grateful Dead Almanac: "The Attics of My Life" Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (Grateful Dead, 1999). Large-scale, lavishly illustrated piece, built around Robert Hunter's lyric for a Grateful Dead signature song. One of the more striking examples of Truman's extensive work on behalf of the legendary band. Distinctive hand-lettering (Rotring Technical Pen) is a bonus attraction. Ink over graphite on bright white Bristol Board. Detailed coloring in Dr. Martin's Dyes, enhanced by design markers. The title does not appear on the original art; it was added in production. Signed and dated 6-99 at bottom right. Image area, 11" x 17". Light marginal/corner creasing. Excellent condition.
