Stan Goldberg and John D'Agostino World of Archie Double Digest #2 Complete 11-Page Story "Dinner for 2" Original Art (Archie Comics, 2011) A comedy of manners in a class with the vintage work of Archie's creator, Bob Montana. Betty Cooper has treated Archie Andrews to a home-cooked feast -- when the overstuffed goof remembers that he's due for a full-course dinner with Veronica Lodge. Right now, and no buts about it. Whereupon Archie resorts to subterfuge and enlists Jughead Jones to hide under Veronica's dining-table and become Archie's ghost-eater. No way this misadventure can turn out okay for Archie, but there are plenty of chuckles along the way. Nifty art, too, in that polished Goldberg style. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Paste-up title logo, staple holes, whiteout correction/clean-up, production notes, and smudging/handling wear.
