Description
Samm Schwartz, Joe Edwards, and others Archie's Madhouse #16 Near Complete Issue Original Art Group of 30 (Archie, 1961). Monsters and mayhem! It's Archie Comics' take on horror comics and other features that don't quite fit in mainstream Archie books. Many of the characters we know and love appear, including Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead, among others, in stories, features, and ads by artists including Schwartz, Edwards, Bob White, Orlando Busino, and others. This is the full issue, only missing two ad pages (Page 9 and 32) and the inside front/back cover gags. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with image areas of approximately 12" x 17.5". Slight toning, text/art paste-ups, added piece on the top of the first page, whiteout corrections, with light staining and handling wear.
