Description
Samm Schwartz and Marty Epp Jughead's Fantasy #1 Complete Story "Sir Jugalot and the Dragon" Original Art Group of 27 (Archie, 1960). The complete story of "Sir Jugalot and the Dragon", a four chapter adventure where Jughead dreams of being a knight in Camelot. The chapters include "Knighthood Daze", "Dragon Trouble", "Hail the Chump", and "Fact or Fiction". The story was later reprinted in Archie Giant Series Magazine #136 (1965). Ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 12" x 17.5". Slight toning, stat logo paste-ups, labels in the top margin with residue staining from missing labels, the opening double-page spread of Chapter III is separate and the pages are mounted to support boards with edge tearing, whiteout corrections, with staining and edge/handling wear.
