Description

Sam Glanzman Voyage to the Deep #2 Near Complete Issue Original Art Group of 30 (Dell, 1963). The submarine, Proteus, under the command of Admiral Leigh and Captain Peters, carries out harrowing missions to save the Earth from complete destruction in "The Ice Menace". Includes 30 of the 32-page story, only missing Pages 2 and 32. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 12.25" x 17.75". Toning, stat title and text correction paste-ups, marginal notes, punched holes in the top margin of the first three pages, right edge tears on Page 1, with staining, smudging, and edge/handling wear. Signed by Glanzman in the bottom right corner of the opening panel. Overall in Very Good condition.
