Rudy Palais - Original Art for Chamber of Chills #16, Complete 5-page Story, "The Creeping Death" (Harvey, 1953). Out of the dim past it came, this fantastic monster that could not be killed... for it had been reincarnated from its lair... and nothing could stop "The Creeping Death". A giant slab of stone with a horrific monster carved into its surface is excavated from an underwater city, much to the misfortune of the scientists who want to keep it, in this five-page horror story pencilled and inked by Rudy Palais. The overall page size is 15" x 22" with a 12" x 18" image area. The work shows some minimal amount of aging, and has some limited white-out usage, but overall the work is very clean with no damage.
