    Description

Robert Crumb (as R. Crustt) Snatch Comics #1 "The Fight" Complete 6-Page Story Original Art (Apex Novelties, 1968). "Uh oh! This oughta be good!" Two statuesque women meet on the street and fight it out over a man (naturally), in this sex fantasy romp from the first issue of Snatch Comics. This mini-sized comic was a nod to the "pocket-size" men's magazines of the 1950s, with R. Crumb and his pals pushing the envelope as far as they could with extreme sexually-charged material. The art is in ink over light graphite on Bristol board, with an average per-page image size of 4.25" x 6.25". Minor handling wear in the outer border areas; images remain in Excellent condition. This is Crumb art from his early peak period, not long after the first issue of Zap Comix hit the streets -- wild 'n' crazy! From the Eric Sack Collection.
