Description

Richard Sala Hypnotic Tales Complete 3-Page Story "Windows" Original Art (Kitchen Sink Press, 1992). Sala, a master of surreal weirdness, often described his artistry as "silly fun with a dark side." As a leading figure in the resurgent Underground Comix movement of the 1980s-1990s, Sala had emerged from self-published obscurity to prominence as a respected figure in the realms of dreamlike mystery and bizarre decorative touches. This story concerns an act of voyeurism with a reciprocal backlash. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 9.5" x 13.5". Lightly toned and in Excellent condition.
