Ralph Reese Typicl (sic) Tales Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (1977). Reese's style -- born of an apprenticeship with the great Wally Wood -- hits a plateau of horrific realism in this indictment of "the hypocrisies and contradictions [of] outdated marijuana laws and an uninformed public." The publishing pedigree is undocumented; a former owner-turned-seller traces the first appearance to an issue of High Times magazine. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 12" x 18".
