Description

John Buscema - Original Art for Savage Tales #1, Complete 15 page story. (Marvel, 1971). Ka-Zar is featured in this incredible 15 page complete story by John Buscema. The penciling and inking were both done by Buscema, and you can really see his clean lines. The first page is a fantastic splash of Ka-Zar wrestling Zabu back from the stampeding dinosaurs. This fantastic story is full of action on every page. There is a brief retelling of Ka-Zar's origin, and a female villainess drawn in John Buscema's famous style. Many pages have small sketches on the back, where John was trying to figure out how to draw a particular image. The artwork is in overall nice condition, with the usual amount of white-out and light stains.
