Description
Joe Beck and Otto Eppers "Officer Clancy" Complete 1-Page Stories Original Art (c. 1940s). A group of six "Officer Clancy" features that were likely included in Chesler/Remington Morse comics of the early 1940s. Two of the six pages have been found in Yankee Comics #6 and 7 (Remington Morse, c. 1943). Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with individual image areas of 8" x 12", adhered to a 28" x 28" support board with a protective acetate covering. Slight toning, paste-ups, whiteout corrections, with soiling/staining and wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.More information about Joe Beck. See also: Beck, Joe Artist.
