Irving Tripp Golden Magazine for Boys and Girls Little Lulu Complete 3-Page Story Original Art (Whitman, 1970). Lulu and Annie's day of fun in the snow gets slightly sidetracked by Tubby and the fellers, in this cute three-page story, done specially for Golden Magazine. Although this rare story has in the past been attributed to John Stanley, it's come to our attention that Stanley did no work on Lulu comics after 1959, and he retired from comic book work in 1969. At any rate, this has the classic Lulu look, and is sure to make any fan of the character happy. The art is in ink over graphite on board with rubylith tape borders; per-page image area measures 13.5" x 18.5". All three pages have been matted and framed with glass for an overall size of 51" x 27.5". While the wood veneer on the frame is beginning to come loose, the art remains in Excellent condition.
