Description
Howard Cruse "The Educator" Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (2009). Cruse's near-lifelong career as an LGBTQ writer-cartoonist was well established by the time he tackled this harrowing vignette about a schoolteacher's glib and menacing response to a public lynching. Rich in pen-and-ink technique as dialogued for full measure of satirical intensity. No publishing pedigree is documented. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 14" x 18.5". Excellent condition.From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
