Description

Herb Trimpe and Jack Abel Incredible Hulk #176 Complete 18-Page Story -- 16 Original Art and Two Stat Pages (Marvel, 1974). Warlock is discussed and shown on two different pages, but the main event is a battle on Counter-Earth between Hulk and the Man-Beast, and by the way the latter is the President of the United States! A Trimpe Hulk story is on many a wantlist, and though two pages here (the tenth and eleventh pages of the story, i.e. issue pages 16 and 17) are the photostat production pages rather than original art, neither of those pages feature the Hulk. This story has been in a collection for decades, never offered for public sale. Ink over graphite on Bristol. Each page has an image area of 10" x 15". Taped-on page numbers as usual for Marvel art of this era. Some production staining. The last page of the story is done on two separate pieces of board, taped together on the back. Very Good condition.
