Description

Harvey Kurtzman and Will Elder Playboy Little Annie Fanny Complete 3-Page Story "Singles Apartment" Original Art (Playboy, 1974). Annie's move to a California swingin' singles apartment complex, the "Marina Del Play," is the setting for this wild romp, where even the garbage room is the scene for a party! Like all of the Kurtzman-Elder painted Annie comics, this one is lush... and luscious, with every panel crammed full of Elder's famous "eyeball kicks" (not to mention a bevy of beautiful bodies, especially the fully nude Annie in the last page -- Leapin' Lizards!). This story originally appeared in the December, 1974 issue of Playboy and epitomizes carefree '70s attitudes that have all but vanished in today's more cautious times, so leave those hang-ups behind for three pages of spirited, sexy fun! The art is fully rendered in mixed media on illustration board, with an average image area of 10.5" x 15". The outer borders show handling wear, but the art itself is in Excellent condition, save for a couple of word balloon corrections that have darkened slightly. The photostatted logo masthead is included as a separate piece, taped to page one.
