Gilbert Shelton Knockabout Comics #10 Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (Knockabout, 1985). Shelton, funniest gagman of the Underground Comix scene, delivers a hilarious play-on-words punchline in this brief adventure of the Fabulous Furry Freak Bros. -- or their caveman ancestors. All the Shelton hallmarks are here -- intricate crosshatching, delicate white-paint highlights, expressive faces and body language -- and of course the all-important dope-humor business. Ink over graphite on sketch-pad page stock, with painted white retouching. Image area, 8" x 12.5". Faint toning and marginal markings. Signed at lower right. Excellent condition.
