Gilbert Shelton Drag Cartoons #46 Wonder Wart-Hog Complete 5-Page Story Original Art (Pete Millar, 1967). It's October, the "start" of the Holiday Season, and for some strange reason, everyone from car salesmen to a gang of kidnappers puts on a Santa suit! That's the wacky premise to "The Year They Blew Christmas!" This very funny five-pager includes a half-page splash panel climax featuring a shoot-out between cops and the kidnappers that will make you never think about Santa Claus the same way again! Although this is a Wonder Wart-Hog story, most of the action centers around WW-H's alter-ego, reporter Philbert Desenex, who is the only "Santa" actually standing on a street corner collecting money for charity; the Hog of Steel does show up in the last page to round up the bad guys. Art is in ink over blue pencil on five sheets of illustration board; average per-page image size is 10" x 13". Minor handling, edge wear, and toning; overall Very Good condition.
