It's courage under fire with a twist in the killer skies of World War I, superbly illustrated by Golden Age great George Evans. Evans had a realistic cartooning style and his keen attention to detail and accuracy gave his stories a gripping verisimilitude. This thriller showcases him at the top of his form. Each page has an image area of 13" x 18", and aside from a few small stains and pasted-on word balloons and captions, these pages average Excellent condition. This yarn is a must-have for any EC war collector.
