Description
Frank Quitely DCU: Legacies #8 Complete 8-Page Story "Snapshot: Revelation!" Original Art (DC, 2011). This incredible lot includes both the pencil roughs and separate inked pages for the complete 8-page story "Snapshot: Revelation!" -- totaling 16 pages! This may mark the last time Frank Quitely ever inked his own work, as he later transitioned to using dark graphite with digital inking. A backup story that revisits the iconic events from Jack Kirby's New Gods #1 and #2, following Claudia Shane as she learns about the war between the gods of New Genesis, led by Orion against Darkseid, after being abducted into their cosmic conflict. Ink over printed blue lines on DC Bristol board with approximate image areas of 9" x 14", with the exception of one page that is 9" x 15". The penciled pages are graphite on DC Bristol board with approximately the same image area dimensions as the inked versions, with the exception of one that is 11.5" x 16.25". Smudging, whiteout touch-ups, marginal editorial notes, marginal ink stains and scribbles, and minor handling wear. Signed by Quitely in the bottom right of all 16 pages.
