    Description

Edgar Church Rex Keith Original Art Group of 5 (1937). Among comic collectors, the name of Edgar Church is legendary. The careful Colorado collector amassed the finest condition collection of Golden Age comic books known to exist, later dubbed the "Mile High" pedigree. Church was a telephone book graphic artist with an ambition to become a cartoonist, and he bought his comic books as reference for his career. Here is a rare look at some of Church's own graphic storytelling efforts. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 12.5" x 18". Light toning and handling wear. In Excellent condition.
