Bud Sagendorf Popeye #10 Near Complete Story Original Art Group of 6 (Dell, 1949). He yam what he yam, and that am a fightin' man! But when he books a prize fight and then Olive tells him not to throw a punch or loose her forever... well that puts the squinky-eyed sailor in a d'lema! Sagendorf's art perfectly captures the charm of the original Thimble Theatre and Fleisher-era Popeye cartoons. Included are pages 1-6 of the 8-page story "OUCH! or Don't Hit Him - He's a Human!". Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18.5". Signed in Panel 1 of Page 1. Toned, with handling wear.
