    Description

Bernie Wrightson Web of Horror #3 Complete Large-Scale 6-Page Story "Feed It!" (Major Magazines, 1970). Wrightson was on a roll during 1969-70 as the comics' emerging new Master of Horror. Although Major Magazines held out only briefly in that genre, the book yielded Wrightson's most inspired early work -- stories that would affirm his pre-eminence. "Feed It!" is the finest of his contributions to Web of Horror -- a grisly piece of ironic shock value, with a double-whammy visual/verbal punchline at the very end. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. The image area is a whopping 14" x 20". Light, fairly even age-toning with sporadic spot-staining. Excellent condition.
