    Basil Wolverton Comedy #63 Powerhouse Pepper Complete 6-Page Story Original Art (Humorama/Visual Varieties, 1962). Powerhouse Pepper was a wonderful Wolverton creation with a long history. He debuted in Joker Comics #1 in 1942. The earliest publication we could find for this story, originally titled "A Spin To Win", and later re-titled "Ski-So Frantic", was in Comedy #63 (1962), but it was later reprinted in: Stare V12 #85 (1969); Popular Cartoons #11 (year unknown); Popular Jokes V15#75 (1980), Intense! #1 (Pure Imagination, 1993); and Basil Wolverton's Powerhouse Pepper (Fantagraphics, 1994). It a wacky little bit of six-page ski slope silliness, as created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.75" x 18.5". The boards are lightly toned and in overall Excellent condition.
