Description

Arthur Peddy and Al Bryant (Attributed) Fight Comics #22 Complete 10-Page "Shark Brodie" Story Original Art (Fiction House, 1942). Rip-snorting Shark Brodie is an early creation of the great Will Eisner, co-founder of the Eisner-Iger Studio that supplied the words and pictures for Fiction House's heroic titles. Brodie's adventures persisted even after Eisner's departure to launch his independent Spirit feature, and this dynamic episode is a classic. Here, Brodie launches an assault against an Axis plot. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 13" x 18". Deeply toned, with blue-pencil editorial markings and painted white art corrections. Very Good condition.
