    Description

Archie Comics Artist Pat the Brat #4 Complete Two-Thirds Page Puzzle Feature Original Art (Archie Comics, 1956). Conceived as a riposte to Hank Ketcham's Dennis the Menace, the Archie Group's Pat the Brat found its truer groove in the overriding influence of writer-artist Bob Bolling, who also brought substance to the Little Archie books. This unsigned filler-page contains touches reminiscent of Bolling's brush-and-ink style, but the art bears no signature or formal attribution. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 13" x 13". Light toning with adhesive staining in art area. Very Good condition.
