Description
Alan Weiss (attributed) and Murphy Anderson Young Romance #195 Complete 5-Page Story Original Art (DC Comics, 1973). In "Bitter Lesson in Love," Ann loves her sister Sherry's boyfriend, Danny. She tried dating others, but still thinks of Danny. Danny tells Ann that he doesn't love Sherry anymore and he kisses Ann, saying the same words he had said to Sherry. She pushes him aside, thinking to herself that Sherry will learn the same lesson that she has learned. The art is gorgeous, especially the close up distraught expressions. Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with image areas of 10" x 15". There is some light toning, the top borders have been trimmed, production correction marks in whiteout, soft corner creased and bumps, and marginal notes. Averaged in Excellent condition.
