Al Jaffee MAD #344 Complete 1-Page Story Inside Back Cover "MAD Fold-In" Original Art (EC Publ., 1996). Jaffee's long-running puzzle page tackles sporting celebrities with a hero-worship introduction that turns grimmer, once the painting is folded in upon itself. "What's the new hot sports-fan collectible?" The revealed answer turns out to be, "Mug shots." Ironic that Jaffeee, the inventor of the Fold-In feature, could not see his hidden drawings until after they were printed: One simply can't fold a brittle sheet of illustration board without wrecking the thing.
