Description
Wilson McCoy The Phantom Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-26-61 (King Features Syndicate, 1961). Wilson McCoy was in the zenith of his narrative artistry during his last living year (he passed away in July of 1961). This great Sunday featuring a victorious Phantom is rendered in ink over graphite on three sections of Bristol board, each with an approximate image area of 25.75" x 5.5". The four panels of the third section are affixed on another board. Adhesive residue staining. Light toning and handling wear. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
