Wayne Boring - Original Comic Strip Art for Superman dated 1/11/52 (McClure Newspaper Syndicate, 1952). Featuring The Man of Steel in all three panels, this is an outstanding example of early Superman syndicated strip art. Artist Wayne Boring added a lovely texture to the art by drawing the strip on Benday craft-tint paper. Strip art is currently undervalued relative to original comic art, so if you are looking for work by one of the classic Superman artists you would do well to consider this prime example. Overall size is approximately 7"x 23", with an image area of approximately 6" x 19".
