    Walt Kelly Pogo Friday the 13th Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-13-62 (Hall Syndicate, 1962). Most of the Pogo cast appear in this hilarious Friday the 13th daily. Walt Kelly's blue penciling can be seen beneath his inks. The image area is 18.5" x 5", and the art is in Excellent condition.

    Kelly, Walt:American cartoonist and animator, best known for his newspaper comic strip Pogo. Worked as a storyboard artist and gag writer for Walt Disney Studios from 1936 to 1941, contributing to Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Dumbo. Drew various comics for Dell in the 1940s, most notably on Fairy Tale Parade and Mother Goose Comics. Created Pogo in 1948, winning the Reuben Award for the series in 1951 . Comic Art
