Walt Kelly Pogo Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 3 (Hall Syndicate, 1963-66). Show-stopping performances from Howland Owl, a favorite Kelly character. In the 1-5-66 installment, Owl and Beauregard Bugleboy (alias Ol' Houn' Dawg) ponder the mystery of whether chickens have teeth. (Churchy Turtle gets in the last word.) Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 19.5" x 6". Excellent condition, with unobtrusive central creasing.
