Description
Walt Kelly Pogo Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 2 (Hall Syndicate, 1965-1966). In 1949, Walt Kelly hooked up with the Hall Syndicate and soon, the Okefenokee denizens were appearing in nearly 600 newspapers and a few dozen best-selling paperbacks, forever ensconced as one of the all-time great comics. Dates are 11-17-1965 and 1-6-1966. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with image areas of 18.5" x 5". Soft edge and and handling wear, vertical fold creasing down the middle, marginal production notes, pinholes, and light toning. In Excellent condition.More information about Walt Kelly.
