Wally Wood Cannon Comic Strip #C66 Original Art (Wood and Richter, 1973). Wally Wood proved himself one of the most talented and hard-working artists of the Silver Age. From 1970-74 Wood wrote and drew Cannon, an adventure strip designed for a newspaper distributed exclusively to military bases. Cannon is a dehumanized killer "wet-works" agent for the US government, and most of his adventures were spiced with beautiful, busty women -- usually nude, for little reason at all. This episode was prominently featured in the magazine Wallace Wood's Canon #2 -- the central image on the front cover is from Panel 6 of C66A, and the back cover of the magazine was taken from Panel 1 of C66B. This adventure was created in ink and Zipatone over blue pencil, on two separate sheets of Bristol board, with a combined image area of 17.25" x 23.75". The logo is a printed paste-up. In Excellent condition. A copy of the magazine is included.
