Vaughn Shoemaker - Editorial Cartoon Illustration Original Art (Chicago Daily News, undated). Vaughn Shoemaker worked for the Chicago Daily News and twice won the Pulitzer Prize for The Road Back (1938) and Still Racing His Shadow (1947). His cartoons were once criticized by Herman Goering who described his work as "horrible examples of anti-Nazi propaganda." This piece has an overall size that measures 16" x 19", and aside from some mild paper aging, the art is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
