Vaughn Bodé Cavalier Magazine Cheech Wizard Comic Strip Original Art (Cavalier, 1972). "The Hat" and the Babe are goin' at it on this strip, whether Cheech wants to or not! Cheech Wizard was appearing in Cavalier and then in National Lampoon around this time period. The reverse of the art board is noted as "Cheech Wizard #4 Feb 1972". And as this was not in the February 1972 issue of National Lampoon, it most likely appeared as a "Deadbone Erotica" in that month's issue of Cavalier. Rendered in ink and ink wash with a bit of blue "tattoo" work on the Babe, on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 9.75". The text is hand-lettered, with the last word balloon being a hand-lettered paste-up text correction. Signed just under Panel 1. In Excellent condition.
