    V. T. Hamlin Alley Oop Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-19-38 (NEA Service Inc., 1938). Collectors of pre-1940s Alley Oop originals almost always insist on an example featuring a dinosaur. This daily features Alley Oop, the comely Ooola, Foozy, and a dinosaur in the last panel. The art is in Very Good condition, with edge toning and a discolored syndicate strip, and the ink over graphite on Bristol board image area measures approximately 20.5" x 5". V. T. Hamlin's stylized and beautifully detailed artwork is filled with a kinetic energy, and the expression on the dinosaur's face is hilarious.
