Sy Barry The Phantom Consecutive Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 5 (King Features Syndicate, 1982) These five strips are finally getting to the good part of the lengthy "Tale of Rex" storyline that ran for months in 1982. Includes strips dated 3-30, 3-31, 4-1, 4-2, and 4-3. Produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 13" x 4". Boards are slightly toned, with light to moderate handling wear. Discolored Zipatone, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial marks, ink smudging. Board for 4-3 has water damage on right side of strip mostly contained to the right margin. Overall in Very Good condition.Auction Info
