Description
Stanley Link Tiny Tim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-4-51 (Chicago Tribune Syndicate, 1951).Tiny Tim Grunt lives up to his nickname by appearing here as a miniature version of himself -- with a talking pigeon to establish the scale. The episode is built around clever wordplay -- with a brilliant groaner of a pun for the punchline. Link was a genius, and his work will hold especial appeal for fans of such master fantasist/funnyman cartoonists as Boody Rogers and Basil Wolverton. Page includes the companion-strip, Ching Chow. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 19" x 12.75". Moderate age-toning; with an left-edge trimming that has removed a portion of the border. Adhesive staining on the paste-in logotype. Very Good condition.
