Description

Stanley Link Tiny Tim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-17-40 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). Looks like a dastardly villain in the making: A new suitor for the mother of "Tiny" Tim Grunt seems friendly enough -- and also a bit shady. Tim should know, what with his having dealt with plenty of shady business over the course of Link's unique and magnificent feature. A savvy combination of suspense, intrigue, supernatural business, and science fiction made Link a popular favorite among children and grown-ups alike. Brilliant in its combination of old-fashioned narrative simplicity with complex emotions. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 19" x 12.5". Moderate age-toning and handling wear. Very Good condition.
