Rudolph Dirks The Captain and the Kids Sunday Comic Strip Original Art 6-6-1976 (United Feature Syndicate, 1976). The magpie in this Sunday looks very much like either Heckle or Jeckle. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.5" x 15.25". The logo is a discolored printed paste-up. The board is toned with edge wear. Signed in the last panel.
