Rube Goldberg I Never Thought of That Comic Strip Original Art (c. January 1915). Titled "It Won't Be So Bad When War Economy Leaves Us in the Dark", legendary Cartoonist Rube Goldberg illustrates this two-part daily including a dark romantic scene and a light humorous four-panel gag. Production notes on the piece indicate "Friday, January 25th 1915" multiple times, but that date was actually a Monday. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22" x 8.25". Bristol board plastic wrapped and affixed to illustration board. Staining, tears, chipping, toning, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
