Rube Goldberg Boob McNutt and Bill Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-23-34 (Star Company, 1934). This Sunday includes the Bill topper companion strip, and also a "Bob McNutt's Geography" single panel gag featuring Camp Sappagoofus. Goldberg is most well-known for his "contraptions" comic illustrations, which coined the term "Rube Goldberg Contraption (or Machine)" to describe something overly complicated. This Sunday was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 22.25". Signed in the bottom tier. In Very Good condition, with toning to the board, edge and corner wear, and marginal notes.More information about Rube Goldberg.
