Richard F. Outcault Buster Brown Sunday Comic Strip Original Art (Newspaper Feature Service, c. 1915-20). Yet again, Buster Brown leaps at the chance to torment the household help in this very funny strip. Panel 3 features a great image of Tige breaking the fourth wall and mugging for the camera. Dated as running on July 18th, and with a Newspaper Feature Service syndication notation, this could only have been published in either 1915 or 1920. Comes with the topper tier on a separate section of bristol board. They are created in ink over graphite on two pieces of Bristol board with a combined image area of 18.75" x 24.25". Signed in the last panel. The boards are toned, with some light soiling and stains. Pinholes in the marginal corners, with some corner/edge rips. Overall the image area is in Very Good condition. From the Outcault Family Collection.
