Description
Ray Moore The Phantom Partial Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-1-40 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). The Phantom (in disguise... can you spot him?) is back in the big city trying to clear Whitey from a murder charge. It's from "The Beachcomber" story arc that ran from 7-28-40 until 12-29-40. This top tier of the Sunday was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 28" x 8". The empty logo top banner has been scored and the top right corner is broken off of the board. The board is toned, with a missing stripped-in text correction, and handling wear.
