Ray Gotto Ozark Ike Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-26-46 (King Features Syndicate, 1946). What begins as moonlight and mush ends with Ike bawling under the branches, and Dinah wondering how she wound up with a weeper instead of a wooer. Leave it to Ike to turn "kiss me under the moonlight" into "cry me a river". Ink and blue wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 6". Light toning, adhesive residue and production oil staining, missing screentone, smudging, whiteout corrections, blue pencil editorial marks, and handling wear. In Very Good condition
