Neal Adams Ben Casey Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-25-66 (NEA, 1966). Neal Adams started out in the major-league comic strips, but aspired to revolutionize the funnybooks. Here is his launching-pad, a daily and Sunday spinoff of the TV soaper Ben Casey. Adams proved a sensation, and before long he was ensconced at DC Comics, where his hyper-realistic illustrative style caused a lasting sensation. Ink over graphite with Zipatone shading film on Bristol board, with an image area of approximately 14.5" x 4.25". Mild toning and/or smudging in the margins and along the edges, slight corner and edge wear. Art is in Excellent condition.
