Description

Morris Weiss Joe Jinks Original Art dated 10-12-43 (United Feature Syndicate, 1943). Joe Jinks was a long-running boxing-themed comic strip. Morris Weiss would become Lank Leonard's assistant and eventually take over Leonard's Mickey Finn strip. This strip, titled "Broke and Alone", was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.25" x 5". Someone has written both "Joe Jinks" and "Mickey Finn" in the margins, but this is for sure Joe Jinks. Toned and in Excellent condition.
