    Description

Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates Sunday Comic Strip Dragon Lady Original Art dated 10-15-39 (News Syndicate Co., 1939). Terry, Pat, and the Dragon Lady are strung-up for the slaughter, along with a long row of civilians. It's Connie and Deeth Crispin to the rescue! Created in ink over graphite on two sheets of conjoined Bristol board with a combined matted image area of 19" x 26". This Sunday was personalized and signed as a gift to fellow cartoonist Edmond Good in the lower left of the last panel. The personalization/signature has faded over time. The boards are joined on the reverse side with production tape. There are stains and soiling on the toned boards. The paste-up printed logo is stained, chipped, and discolored. Matted out to 22" x 29". In Good condition.
